In 2017, it coordinated the formulation of the Specification for Life Proportional Reinsurance Treaty (T/IAC 10/2017) and the Specification for Life Catastrophe Excess of Loss Reinsurance Treaty (T/IAC 11/2017), which set out clear operation guidelines in four areas including scope, glossary and definitions, basic requirements and contract elements. The life reinsurance treaty specification series represent the first time that the PRC insurance industry regulates contract wordings in the form of group standards.
